Just discovered to be 1947 feet deep, another 15 feet deeper that previously accepted.
The bluest water I have ever seen in my life!
Over 7,700 years ago Mt. Mazama erupted, as the mountian collapsed it formed the caldera you're looking at.
Wizard Island, there are currently boat tours that will take you out to the island.
